News from University of Warwick

News from Warwick

At the University of Warwick, we now have international undergraduate scholarships for 2021 entry! This is a commitment to international diversity being at the heart of our decision to offer undergraduate financial support, following the upcoming changes of fee status for EU/EEA/Swiss students for the 2021 academic year. We greatly value the contribution our European students (and indeed staff) make to our academic community, and hope that the expansion of financial support may make study possible for more high-achieving European students.

University of Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarships

The University of Warwick will offer 250 Scholarships to international fee-paying students for 2021 entry. The new Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship Scheme will be available for international students who hold an offer with the University for an Undergraduate course for 2021.  We will offer:

·       20 full tuition fee scholarships

·       160 scholarships of £13,000

·       70 scholarships of £2,000

Each award will be payable for successive years, and for the full duration of students’ undergraduate degree courses, including integrated Master’s.

We will be updating our website (above) with more detailed information on the application process, selection criteria, and award dates in the coming months. Our aim is to open applications from early 2021. I will keep you updated with dates and changes as they are announced.

For context on the current position on fees and funding for 2021, I have included details on (1) course fees and (2) UK national fee assessments for those currently living in Europe.

The relevant section from the first of these links states that:

As you will see from the Warwick page, further details on our scholarship will follow. As ever too, please feel welcome to keep in touch if you want or need more. You can either email myself our resource account EURUSCA@warwick.ac.uk.

We hope to have the opportunity to speak in person with your students at one of our forthcoming fairs such as the British Council’s Study UK Europe: Online fair for EU students which starts on 19th October 2020 or the CIS International University Fair on 22nd October.
