Rotterdam – can apply fairly late.

Maastricht. Free University of Amsterdam.  University of Amsterdam.

Courses not easier!  65% drop-out rate in 1st year.

3 years there is cheaper than 1 year in the UK.

Eindhoven – Institute of Technology.

University colleges ask for more.

V high level of Maths needed in some courses.

Netherlands – Notes

  • Cheaper options- Netherlands – Tilburgh – lots of options.
  • NUFICC.NL – search engine. 1500 courses in English.
  • University College – The Hague.
  • Amsterdam – university college.
  • Erasmus – Business Management and Economics- one of the better ones.  Business Admin.  If IB, no entrance test.  Now IB35.  V flexible about entry requirements.  9000 euros if non-EU.
  • Netherlands are going to raise their fees for 2013 to 2014
  • Utrecht very Dutch – international kids would not be as happy.
  • Maastricht & Erasmus.  Hotel School in the Hague has good reputation – just need IB.

English Language Options in Europe – Notes

  • 2013 St Gallen – have to do GMAT – English language –  economics. Graduate management test needed.
  • Lucerne – Uni of Applied Sciences – Management – English (Hochschule) – need IB. 1 year work experience needed.  Art & Business mgt programmes.
  • Lugano – IT programme.
  • Webster, Franklin.
  • Luzern – 1 yr experience needed usually – DCT.  Reciprocal arrangement with Massachusets. Accredited etc.
  • Lausanne – Hochschule, in French – subsidiary of university.
  • Thunderbirds – Phoenix Business – branched out over world – Geneva.  
  • Liberal Arts – Webster campuses, American Uni in Paris.
